As long as there have been children, someone in every corner of the world has been kicking a ball, or some semblance of one, around the ground, at or through a target. Soccer balls have been improvised from every conceivable source, including animal skulls and bladders, coconuts, and even human skulls. Over the decades every type of animal skin, including the obvious leather, was used as a means to keep the ball more closely rounded. In 1836, Charles Goodyear developed and patented vulcanized rubber, and by 1855, he had translated his discoveries into the designing of rubber soccer balls. Fast forwarding through the years, we now have exceptional balls, sanctioned by FIFA, The Federation of International Football Associations. In a statement regarding the importance of a good ball to a good game, the February 28, 1988 of FIFA Magazine states, "The football is more than just stitched leather. There can be no game of football without a ball and the better the ball, the better the game." The FIFA mark on a soccer ball is an assurance of rigorous testing towards a ball of proven quality standards and performance. Today's players depend on the FIFA mark of excellence in all levels of play, both recreationally and in the competitive arena. Another recognized mark for choosing a soccer ball that will stand up to long field time and weather extremes is the NFHS, which is the National Federation for High School Associations, a sanctioning body for all high school sports, including soccer. Soccer balls come in both leather, widely recognized as the best ball for numerous reasons, such as shape retention and weather resistance, and also in synthetic leather, which can be a viable choice for the beginning recreational player. Once the player has come to recognize the difference in ball handling though between the natural and synthetic leather ball, it will be time to make the move up to one of the many available to choose from in every color and necessary size. The top three sellers, and most readily available in sporting stores as well on from online retailers, are Adidas, Bremen and Nike. Among those, it is Adidas that offers the public the opportunity to play with the same ball used in Major League Soccer games, the +Teamgeist. It retails for 130.00, so although, it may not be the first ball you buy, it is sure to be one you will find delightful to work with once you have tried it. It offers superior reaction, spherical retention, and it may be the most accurate football ever produced. Proponents of this ball claim no other ball can compare with the +Teamgeist in flawless performance, both on the ground and in the air. Many of the high end balls are only available in size 5, the adult size, with a few expanding their repertoire to include the smaller size 4 ball. To get the youth starter ball in the requisite size 3, the consumer can expect to pay only 10.00 to 20.00 for a great beginner ball, in many choices of colors. Puma and Lotto have long been good choices in the entry level range of ball, offering fine performance and durability for the money.

What is diagnosis
"Diagnosis" is a fancy name given to the process of identifying diseases. It is a Greek name. Break it down; "dia" means "by" and "gnosis" means "knowledge". How do I diagnose my illness? You don't! Diagnosis is for doctors and physicians only. They determine your disease by the signs and symptoms that it gives you. If it is unclear by symptoms as to what you are sick with, you will consult a physician. A physician will take their best guesses as to your problems name, and medically test you for it. After your diagnosis is complete through blood test, medical imaging, saliva samples, biopsy, electrocardiogram, stool samples, or urine tests, the physician will decide which is the best way to treat you. Diagnosis is sometimes made by process of elimination. This is called a "differential diagnosis". Through investigation of symptoms and consultations with other doctors or physicians, they are able to tell what you DO NOT have, thus leaving them with your most likely disease. In the 1900's, a man named William Osler began to "practice" medicine. He used the principles of diagnosis and treatment to reduce suffering and increase life expectancy. Osler decided that to practice medicine you must learn to identify diseases, understand where they come from and how they work, and then decide which is the best way to cure them. This is known today as "The Oslerian Ideal". And we have this man to thank for medicine practice today. I suppose, however, we could also thank him for waiting rooms...
No time for exercise try this
“Fitness” is an elusive term covering a vast array of attributes: flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, strength, power, balance, coordination, body-fat percentage and more. While its generally accepted that multiple 30-60 minute sessions per week are optimal for producing results, the truth is that it’s possible to do a great amount in far less time. EVERYONE has five minutes a day…the only question is, can anything really useful be done in just 300 seconds? The answer is a resounding “yes”, but we need choose our exercises carefully. If there is such a limited amount of time, the best choice is to pick the most important muscle group. Chest? Back? Shoulders? Legs? All wrong. The abdominals are the most important muscles in the body. In no particular order, they: 1) Protect the low back. 2) Are vital to sports performance, transferring power from the lower to upper body. 3) Aid digestion, and massage the internal organs. 4) Are important for proper, healthy sexual function. 5) Are “the window of health”—we judge fitness and health more rapidly with a glimpse at the waistline than any other single indication. 6) Are vital for posture, which increases physical energy and mood. 7) Are the linchpin of your entire fitness program. You’ve never seen someone with toned abdominal muscles and flabby arms and legs, have you? The reverse is not true. 8) Are the most important muscle group for physical attractiveness in men or women. No matter the wonderful definition of arms or legs, if your gut is sagging, you have a problem! There are other reasons, but one of the best is the fact that of all body parts, the abs tend to be the least favorite body part to work. They’re hard! That reason alone should be enough to motivate you: anything other people don’t like working is a golden opportunity for you! But how can you do anything useful in just five minutes? One daily approach is to perform five minutes of the toughest ab exercises you can find, and a fantastic tool for this is a “Roller Wheel” available for five dollars at any sporting goods store. Not the fancy ones, just the simple get-on-your-knees variety. Try this: perform one rep, and take a breath. Then do two reps, and take two breaths. Then three, and take three breaths…and so on until you can’t go any higher. Then, drop back to one rep, and start climbing again. When that gets easy, take one breath for every two reps. An even better method is to break up your exercise into multiple daily sessions. The roller wheel is useful here as well, but you might want to investigate some of the powerful “Vacuum” exercises from yoga, or the dynamic-tension style “stomach flattening” exercises. In these, you exhale all air, and flex the abdominal muscles for several seconds. Believe me, if you do these properly, even without aerobic exercise your waistline will decrease! While there is no serious disagreement that longer sessions produce better, and more balanced results, the busiest man or woman on earth can find five minutes a day…and sometimes, that toehold is what it takes to get you started on a new, healthier lifestyle.
Mortgages in crisis
Who would have thought it? Certainly noone in the offices here would have. Do you remember those credit card companies who were so keen to throw money and endless supplies of plastic cards at you? Well now they want it all back! If you have then you'll no doubt be aware that there's no longer such a thing as a friendly loan. All those lenders that just a few years ago were so keen to throw funds at you now are insisting on conclusive proof that you have the means to pay them back. Some people are even finding that with a good credit rating, money in the bank and a healthy property they are having trouble getting a loan or credit card. Is it the same for mortgages? You betcha. Lenders are now nit picking at documentation and are even harder on appraisals with the chances of offering a 100% finance deal being less than slim. With the rise in rates it seems it is impossible or at best extremely hard to get a 100% equity loan any more. Worse still, should you decide to, with the possibility of falling house prices, borrowing against your ever shrinking equity isn't the best thing to do. We saw all this in the 80's and some people still aren't learning their lesson. And credit cards? Same old story, banks are looking to sure up their footing and it's the punter that pays the price to fund their revenue hike. So there's no coincidence that credit card terms are on the up too. So, if you take on board one thing from this article, then let it be this - pay your bills on time and check your bill to see that your APR hasn't suddenly shot up while you weren't looking. You'll probably be surprised at just how many people don't check their statements or online account. OK, but what about that new car? So I'm sounding like a stuck record now, but a quick look through the finance deals on offer reveals the same growth in lending rates, take a look at only twelve months ago and compare the rates. Simple answer is get a fixed rate payback scheme and stick with it. Loading yourself with a rate which could or more likely 'will' go up over the next five years could end up crippling any free cash you have in your monthly pay packet, worse still you could end up wallowing in negative equity. It still pays to shop around whatever type of finance deal you are looking for and a lot of web sites have a friendly loan form to fill in which gives you a comparison snapshot of current deals. With Christmas round the corner we're all going to need all the cash we can get to buy presents and so on, but the important thing to remember, and this may be cliche, but a loan is most probably not just for Christmas and you could well end up with it for life (or perhaps the rest of your mortgage's life).
To focus or not to focus
Often I receive emails from people who have been learning about and applying the Law of Attraction yet they feel stuck. They are clear about what they want. They stay focused on their desire and yet, it seems to be so slow in coming or out of reach entirely. Here's an example of one such email: "I have been trying to attract a good mate into my life and have really focused on it for the past three months. I have posted positive affirmations on my bathroom mirror with positive quotes like 'I am married now to a wonderful person' etc.... I also read every morning and mid-day and night a positive affirmation that I am attracting a great mate who harmonizes with me. I also bought an endless loop cassette tape and recorded that I have a good spouse and that I have attracted a good person to myself etc and I listen to it every night. I really believe that it will come to me, but ..." Could it be that this person is focusing too much? Surely all these affirmations and positive statements should have produced the desired outcome by now! Yes, this person is probably focusing too much on their desire and actually causing resistance to allowing the Law of Attraction to deliver. Here are three things about how the Law of Attraction works to consider: Once you have clarity about your desire and feel satisfied with the mental picture and good feelings you have, then the Law of Attraction reads you loud and clear and the process of delivery is set in motion. If you do nothing more than get crystal clear, you will receive your desire in the easiest most efficient way. The Law of Attraction doesn't really listen to your words, but DOES read how you actually feel about this desire. When you make affirmations that are not true, like: "I have a wonderful spouse"--when you don't, the Law of Attraction only receives your opposite vibration of "I don't have a spouse." The more affirmations you make, the more you are nullifying your desire with this opposing vibration. So, what ARE you supposed to do with that desire you've been so clear about? Hold it in your periphery vision, rather than your focal point. Here's an exercise that will demonstrate how to do that: Keep your focus on this article on the screen of your computer. Now, tell me, what do you see on your far right? Don't move your eyes, just notice what is there. OK, now tell me, what is in the upper left field? What's in the lower left field? What is at the top of your field of vision? And the bottom? You DO know what is there without focusing on the object directly. Now, let's pretend that one of the items in your periphery is a lamp and you want to turn it on. You move your eyes, so that the lamp is the focus of your vision, BRIEFLY, while you turn it on--then return your focus to this screen. This is the best way to hold your clear desires: once you have clearly stated or written your desire, hold it in the periphery of your vision. Get on with other things that you enjoy. You'll know when to shift your focus to your desire--maybe you've changed your mind about a detail--or you just enjoy imagining what it feels like to be living your desire. I have a practice of writing out my desire statement using the 3-Phrases that raise my vibration, then I put it away in a file-folder. The file folder is in my left peripheral vision when I'm at my computer.. I usually seem to 'forget about it' until it is fulfilled. Then I go digging for that particular Desire Statement and find, to my absolute delight, that EVERYTHING I asked for has come true! The bottom line is really this: If focusing on your desire feels good, delightful, playful and exciting, then by all means, enjoy giving it attention. But if you are forcing yourself to focus--you are actually causing resistance that can cause delay. If you've been noticing the length of time it is taking for your desire to come--you are slowing down the process. "Allowing" means staying out the the way, while you allow the Law of Attraction to deliver your desire.
How to start training puppies
Training puppies too early can be difficult. But, if you do not train him early, he will very quickly have the run of the house. Training puppies is necessary because it saves you trouble later. Most dog owners skip this because we all know that dog training takes some effort. If you could teach a puppy in a month, you would be happy. But training a dog well is a longer task. Just because your dog looks cute as a puppy do not let this deter you from training him early. In training puppies, there are some do’s and don’ts. Do Provide the puppy with consistent access to the toilet area. If you are training your puppy at home take him to his toilet area every 45 minutes or so. If you are not at home make sure you help your puppy make as few ‘mistakes’ as possible, by giving him a puppy friendly environment. Every time your puppy does something ‘good’, give him a reward. If he eliminates his waste in the toilet area, praise him and give him a treat. He will then recognize that his actions were right and aim for more because of the reward he will get. Make sure your rewards immediately follow the good action. Feed your puppy just like you feed yourself. If you eat regularly, set aside food for him. It is important to train your puppy the right time to eat. This will prevent him from begging for food from your plates. Be patient in training your puppies. Relapses will take place, but patience and perseverance are key. Remember your dog wants nothing more than to please you. After he is fully trained and it will be worth the while. Don’t Shout at your puppy when he makes mistakes. Especially when dogs are young as this can cause frights that can stay with the dog as it gets older. When house training your dog, don’t leave water and food out all the time. If he drinks a lot, he will urinate more frequently. You will have to allow for more mistakes to be made. Always watch the actions of your puppy and reinforce the good behavior many times throughout the day. It is not proper to let him run around as if he owns the house. If he does so, he will carry that attitude until he grows up. Remembering some of these simple tips can make your puppy a better trained dog and a more enjoyable pet.
Get another debt to be debt free
These Debt Consolidation or “Debt Continuation” Companies don't tell you what you should absolutely know to be debt free. 78% of people who consolidate their debts will fall again in debts after a short period of time, and will end up in the office of a debt consolidation service. Why? Simply because you think that you will really be debt free after three or five years, but it is not the case. Let me explain... Those company, after giving you a very nice pitch (anyway, you did not have choice: bankruptcy, home equity - you can loose your home - , debt settlement company – another kind of wolf -), promise you that you will pay a lower interest rate. But what is the catch? Yes there is a catch. The catch is that you will stay longer in debt if you want lower interest rates. It is not the only reason why I call them Debt Continuation Services. Another reason is: While people are trying to consolidate their debts, they still need to live, and they drag out the credit card for their everyday life. Yes, bills are not stopping while you are trying to get out of debt, it is going on. And those services know that you will come back, this is the reason why they want to “help” you. They know that debt consolidation companies are gaining in popularity, and because thousands of customers turn to these services, they continue to grow. How do they catch so much customers? Let's review some examples of pitches promising to be debt free: * “We will help you to eliminate your debts, don't worry” * “Consolidate your bills into one monthly payment without borrowing” * “Stop credit harassment, foreclosures, repossessions, tax levies and garnishment” * “Keep your property” * “Wipe out your debts! Consolidate your bills! How? By using the protection and assistance provided by federal law. For once, let the law work for you” Until here, it sounds good... Let's continue, * “For that, you just need to pay us a one time bill, or a small fee”. Oh great you say! I found these people and they want to help me, and I will be debt free in less than three years. I must give it a try. What? They just need to get you more in trouble, by having more debts, paying interest rates, work for them (making them richer than they already are). And upon that, you need to investigate before choosing any debt consolidation service, because there is a lot of scams out there.

Do you need a data recovery service
It's happened to the best of us. You're working late into the night all on an important document and all of a sudden, whether it's your fault or not, you lose all that work. The first thing that happens is we are reminded to save our work more frequently. Unfortunately, that won't help at the time of our darkest despair, when hours of work is gone. Most Windows programs let the user press the CTRL-Z keys to undo what you just did. If that doesn't work, it may be time to look into a data recovery service. A data recovery service can help you bring back lost files or information, saving you hours of frustration, and possibly recovering data you would never have seen again. Data recovery services or agencies may consist of one dude or a number of licensed and trained technicians. They can often be found online, since that is where their target market lives. You can Google data recovery services for one in your area. Most data recovery services will walk you through a process that will allow you to recover your own data, making a house call generally unnecessary. Sure, you might be able to find the missing data yourself, but at what price? Time is money, and data recovery agencies can save you time, normally without charging you too much money. They are professionally trained and can recover a variety of lost data whether it was your own fault or a technological failure like a crashed hard drive or corrupt software. They can work on different machines and operating systems and can nearly always solve your problem, no matter how bad you think it may be. Data recovery service providers are on call around-the-clock, because that is what data is lost. They're like emergency room doctors for your computer. Since you don't plan your data loss, they can't plan their schedule, and so need to be available when you need them. They are available for individuals, as well as businesses. For businesses, it is often wise to select a data recovery service with which you form a partnership. They make themselves available to you on a priority basis, and offer their support to all the employees in your company. Doing this, they can offer more competitive rates, and maybe even a single individual dedicated to your business needs. When it comes to data loss in businesses, that lost data can be very expensive, and so having someone around full-time may be a small price to pay. Data recovery service professionals are an integral part of today's technological environment. Whether it's your business needs that are involved, or your letter to grandma, lost data is never funputers, and technology in general, can be unreliable, so it's good to know who you can call when your data is gone.
What is an amortization calculator
An amortization calculator is a very useful tool. Anyone that is purchasing a home can use this tool to help them to find the right loan for their needs. It is not a simple calculator, but one that has a little more interest to it. In fact, within seconds it can tell you just how much a home will cost you with interest included. This is not something that most people can do simply because of the compounding interest that has to be done. Yet, this tool is a great thing to use. You will find them available on the websites of most lenders as well as on many websites offering financial advice. The amortization calculator will be free of charge and there is no obligation for you to use that company to provide your loan to you. In fact, you will not supply it with any of your personal information. The tool will require you to enter specific data into it though including the interest rate of the loan you are considering, the terms of the loan you are considering as well as the amount of money you would like to borrow for it. Then, the amortization calculator will spit out some very useful information to you. It will first tell you the amount that you will have to pay monthly for your home loan at those terms. Then, it can also produce an amortization schedule which will tell you a lot more information. It will tell you how much interest you will pay for your home loan in total as well as the entire amount of money you will spend to purchase your home. It will further break down the values of the payments that you mail in each month and tell you how much of each payment, for each month throughout the course of the loan will go towards the interest and how much will go towards the principle of the loan. Now, this information can be very helpful to you. It will help you to know how much you can spend on your home. If you can only afford a $1000 monthly payment, it can tell you how much of a home you can afford to purchase by changing the values of the home. If you are looking for the best type of loan and interest rate for you, the amortization calculator can help you to compare the features of the loan that are different and give you the bottom line of what it will cost you. Further, you can use it to figure out the cost of the home with various terms included. This tool is one that is essential for anyone that is looking for the right home loan. A good borrower knows that he needs to carefully look at the options that are being provided to him and not go with the first choice he is offered. A smart shopper will use tools like this to help him to see what is out there and how they compare to each other. Since the amortization calculator is provided to you without any charge, there is no reason not to use it.
Illegal workers and identity theft
Identity theft is a growing problem throughout the United States and the world. As many as nine million people in this country will have their identities stolen every year. One source of identity theft, although not the only one, is the practice of illegal workers using someone else's Social Security Number to obtain work and housing. Often, the identities used are of children or the very elderly, because these people aren't likely to notice that their identities are being used elsewhere to help someone get a job. If the Social Security Administration's records don't match worker information, that worker's Social Security earning will be sent to a “suspense file.” These files have been around since 1937, and by 2004, accounted for nearly six billion dollars in wages. This money came from more than two hundred sixty million W-2 forms that didn't match the information that they were supposed to. Theft from illegal workers is the most visible reason for this to happen. Over ninety percent of cases of identity theft are due to this reason. However, you could also find it happening if a worker has changed names without reporting it, or other information problems have occurred. While the majority of identity theft by undocumented workers is done in an attempt to get a job, some incidents are more sinister. Bank fraud is another very common reason someone – whether legitimately in the country or not – might try to steal your identity. Since a federal immigration reform in 1986, employers have been required to keep the SSN and other information of any employee on hand. This means that all illegal immigrants who are trying to get a job that doesn't pay under the table have to find some way to give a valid social security number – and that number may be yours. Recently, the Legislature held an interim meeting to discuss this problem, after which, the Bush administration announced a new policy to attempt to curb this problem. However, this policy is current under litigation, and has been temporarily placed under a restraining order until its validity under the Constitution can be proven. Until the government is able to take an appropriate step to curb identity theft by undocumented workers, there are a few things you can do yourself. Making sure that all your personal documents have been shredded, using a modern cross-cut shredder, is one way to keep your identity safe. In addition, be careful what kind of information you put out in public, and keep a close eye on your personal identification – driver's license, Social Security card, etc. - at all times. These techniques will help guard against traditional identity theft – the kind that can involve bank fraud and ruin your credit. However, there's not a lot you can do to prevent someone from randomly picking your SSN in an attempt to get a job. Until more appropriate legislation comes into being, there's little we can to do protect ourselves from that problem. Thus now you know more about Illegal Workers and Identity Theft.
Security and your garage door opener remote
You'd be right to be concerned about security with your wireless garage door opener and remote. An intruder can gain access to your garage contents, or even your home if you don't follow some simple security steps. Different radio frequencies are used for communication between the remote and the opener. Tiny switches known as dip switches are used to adjust the frequency used between the two. It is a wise idea to reconfigure the dip switch settings to make sure your garage more secure. A dip switch is a small block of plastic about the size of a dice cut in half. They are usually colored blue or red with 8 to 10 tiny white switch levers positioned up or down. Only when the up / down switch patterns match on both devices will your garage door opener remote control be able to communicate with the opener unit. By adjusting the switch pattern, you are changing the radio frequency used to communicate between the two. You should be able to easily locate the dip switch on the opener and on the remote control clicker. But to get access to the dip switch on the remote you might need to open it up if the dip switch isn't found in the battery compartment. Remove the screws holding the remote together, or carefully pry it apart if there are no screws. Once you have access to the dip switch on the remote, scramble the switch positions, and then match the positions on the openers dip switch block. It does not matter what the pattern looks like, so long as its a random pattern that would be difficult for someone to guess. If you have trouble getting the remote to work after doing this, verify that the dip switch patterns are the same on both units. Then check the remote battery is in good condition, and as usual, make sure the opener has power, and operates normally using the control panel inside your garage. You might have to read the manual if all else fails. If you are thinking of getting a new garage door opener or have already gotten one, then you will want to change settings, just to make sure everyone is honest. Don't forget, your installer or anyone working with him knows your frequency switch settings unless you change them. So go ahead and mix up the switch pattern settings and test that it works. Even if you are a garage door opener installation do-it-yourself type, you'll want to make the same changes. Don't just stay with the factory default settings. If you did, then anyone could just drive down your street with a compatible remote until he finds a door that opens and gives access to your home. Make sure that's not you. This advise also applies to anyone buying or renting a new home too. Just like you might change the lock to guarantee there are no spare keys floating around that could compromise your home security. You have no way of knowing how many previous residence there might have been. And you wouldn't want someone to just walk right into your garage or home.
Air mattresses convenience and comfort in one package
Air mattresses are traditionally used for short duration situations such as vacationing, or crashing at your friends house after being kicked out by your girlfriend for forgetting your anniversary. Actually, they are not necessarily judged to be to be the ideal of comfort and health - but in a few cases they certainly do provide a lot of benefit. Higher education students who are short on finances may select for air mattresses for an extended time period because they provide affordability with a relatively healthful night's rest. The challenge is air mattresses tend to be fragile, so while you are lugging it around be careful not to scrape the sides of the air mattress, otherwise it will not remain a bed but rather covers for the ground you will be sleeping on. Perhaps you are going on a road trip and/or orienteering. Air mattresses are certainly a nice choice to have when you are on the road in general so that at least you will have a nice place to rest on after a long day's walk. If you are looking to buy an air mattress (it's good to have one in your supplies in case you need it), there are different online sites that will allow you to compare prices, and read other people's assessments based on their own purchase history. Typically speaking, these types of mattresses can fit into a minute area (probably the size of a medium to large-sized duffel bag), and are very light (once the air is released of course). Even with the air utterly pumped into the air mattress, it's still rather easy to carry. Just don't jump on it or allow your pet to play around or near it. The more low-cost air mattresses maybe don't come with their own electric pump. In which case you will need to use a separate air pump such as the one you use for your tire or recreational sports balls like basketballs and soccer balls. Usually it takes 2 minutes to 7 minutes depending on the mattress brand, and your own power levels. Taking good care of your air mattress is crucial if you want to increase it's lifetime value to you. However you will find that after using most to any air mattress for a while, they will eventually wear out and become unusable. The everyday air mattress should last you at least 6 months to a year and much longer depending on how well you take good care of it.
Icann violating free enterprise
Message to ICANN: Let those who want to create a TLD, simply register it with ICANN. If the TLD is not already taken, if they have the technical capability to mange the TLD, and they have the desire to market domain names on that TLD, then let them do so. It should be similar to the registering of a domain name, except on a higher level, with the added technical requirements. ICANN should be sort of an upper-registry for TLDs. It would be ludicrous for a domain name registrar like GoDaddy or eNom to ask you for a business plan, or a non-refundable application fee, before allowing you to register a domain name. It would be ridiculous for a registrar to have “rounds” of domain name releases of names “they chose” in advance. Okay, this month, GoDaddy will be allocating cheaperwebhosting, doggrommingmadeeasy. net, and virtualinternetwebnetwork. net. We will be taking applications and public comment during the month of February. We will then spend another month reviewing the applicants business plans to decide who we will allocate the domain name to. If you are not approved to manage the domain name you apply for, your application fee will be held by GoDaddy until further notice. Some people will say that is not a good analogy, but it is a perfect analogy. Here is why: If info was still available and I registered it. I could then start selling subdomains like car. info, computer. info, icann. info or any other subdomain someone wished to purchase from me. The subdomain is one dot removed from the domain name the same as the domain name is one dot removed from the TLD. There is no longer any reason to believe ICANN is doing anything other than restricting free enterprise and free trade by not opening up the market for TLDs. It is no longer acceptable that ICANN should be the one to decide which TLDs will or will not be created nor is it acceptable that ICANN gets to choose who can or cannot run a TLD. Do you present a businesss plan to the city you live in before they allow you a business license? No. Does the city ask you to prove you are financially stable before issuing you a business license? No, as long as you pay the registration fee. If you apply for a business license to open a clothing store, does the city ask how you will run your clothing store or if you have the necessary expertise to run a clothing store? No. Does the city think you will hurt them economically if your clothing store goes out of business? No, it’s none of their business. Is the city concerned that there may not enough demand for yet another clothing store? No, again none of their business. ICANN not allowing me, or anyone else in the world, to create a TLD of our choice in any language we choose, is a blatant violation of our rights. In many countries, America among them, the right to free enterprise still exists. ICANN is denying me that right as an American citizen and doing so when even their own organization exists under American law. There are no needs for auctions or rounds or anything else. If you want to run a TLD, then you register it and start selling domain names. If you fail, you fail, just as in any other business venture you take on. Autumnal delight in new england
Holidays in New England rural America encapsulate scenes of clapboard houses, white wooden churches, maple syrup and wholesome goodness. A region of beauty New England is distinctly American in its rich history, culture and natural charm. The four distinct seasons offer visitors something to do throughout the year. During the summer months the sun is usually out and there are a range of activities from sailing, swimming, surfing or fishing to enjoy. Beaches line the coast from Connecticut through to Maine or you may want to rent a log cabin or go camping on a summers evening. Autumn or Fall is legendary in New England and is the best time to take a leisurely drive through the mountains or go hiking or biking to appreciate the gold and red fall foliage. Winter is made fun by the snow and crisp sunny days, the perfect setting for a romantic break or for skiing and snowboarding in the mountains. When the first blooms come out in Spring you may want to explore the mountains and countryside or visit the museums and shops on offer. New England is made up of six states. Connecticut was home to the famous author Mark Twain in Hartford and is an easy day hop from New York. Filled with pretty villages, antique shops and art museums Connecticut might be small but it certainly delivers on quality. From the beaches of Cape Cod the bay state of Massachusetts stretches through its capital Boston past the Connecticut River to the Berkshire Hills. The Cultural Revolution kindled here, started by writers such as Thoreau and Emerson and visitors can see where it all began for themselves at Plymouth Rock. Vermont the Green Mountain State, named so after its hilly spine (verts monts in French) has many small towns which busy themselves with the traditional production of dairy farming and maple syrup. It is a ‘traditional America’. The Granite state of New Hampshire is dominated by mountains and lakes and a picturesque coast including the impressive Mount Washington. The White Mountains are great for skiing and snowboarding in winter or alternatively for hiking in the summer and autumn months. To get away from the holiday crowds head to Maine. As big as all other five states put together it has unspoiled landscapes and the longest coastline with lighthouses. Whale watching is popular in this region. 37 miles wide and 48 miles deep Rhode Island is the USA’s smallest state. However it still manages to boast 400 miles of coastline which is great for sailing. Providence and Newport, two of New England’s historic cities also offer plenty to do. As visitors from all over the world have discovered, a holiday in New England offers every pleasure you could desire.

With a perfectly central location and a beautiful contemporary interior, this is an ideal Paris home from which to explore all the best areas of central Paris on foot."
How to get the most out of your speaker investment
: In a perfect world, you would have an unlimited budget to hire top speakers for your next meeting or convention. Since it's not, here are some tips on getting the most for your meeting dollar. Let me tell you about a project I worked on with the American Payroll Association that could be a model for you -- or at least expand your thinking about ways to use speakers. APA's Executive Director/CEO, Dan Maddux had a week of speaking and seminar slots to fill. Instead of assigning each slot to a different speaker, Dan chose to maximize the contribution of a few top people, using three of them in three different ways. That's how Dan made 1 + 1 + 1 = 9. Three speakers used three ways equals nine slots filled. Here's how such a move can save your organization and money and let you "trade up" to speakers you otherwise couldn't afford. Save on Hotels and Airfare Cutting the number of speakers might or might not reduce the total nights lodging needed, depending on your schedule. However, you'll definitely save on transportation -- for instance, three round-trips versus nine. Speakers May Reduce Fee I can't promise you that all speakers will do extra presentations for the same rates -- they won't. But the speaker you hired last year might have been more flexible if you had only thought to ask, "After your keynote, could you do a breakout session?" Or," Could you emcee?" "Could you moderate a panel?" Even, "Our chairman is a bit nervous. Could you coach him on speaking?" Speakers may give you a better price for three consecutive days at one hotel, rather than three separate dates months apart. For example, for the Florida Realtors Association, I asked, "After my luncheon speech, would you like me to do a seminar on speaking skills?" They said, "Well, the agenda is already slotted in, but we'd love it if you would emcee our Top Producers' panel, the first breakout session after lunch." For the California Interment Association, I was scheduled to present a two-hour seminar after lunch. I said, "What else is going on? Would you like to me to do a spouse program?" They said, "We've never had one, but we've invited spouses for a breakfast get-together." I added a 45-minute program that same morning. The only difference to me was that I had to go to the hotel a few hours earlier. Like most speakers, I want my clients to know I am there to serve them, not to pick up my speaking fee and run. It's Easier to Get Sponsors Trading up to big-name (or bigger-name) speakers makes it easier for you to get sponsors. Whenever people say, "We can't afford you," I always ask, "Do you have sponsors to help pay for your event?" Who would sponsor your event? Consider approaching the exhibitors at your conventions, or whoever sells to your members or who wants good PR with the people in the audience. List these "angels" prominently in the program. I always make a point of giving sponsors a good plug in my presentations. For example, after my opening story for the American Cemetery Association, I quoted the founder of my corporate sponsor, Service Corporation International. Then I gave examples to reinforce my points by reading from their newsletters, and my walk away line incorporated their name. I always let sponsor know, "Don't worry, they won't have any doubt who paid for me," and make a joke about it in my speech. Three Invaluable Bonuses Having speakers on hand throughout your event gives you far greater flexibility in scheduling. Continuity can establish a powerful connection between audience and speaker, getting your message across in a way that a wide variety of speakers couldn't. Dan Maddux says, "We found that when we triple-booked those speakers, they become even more popular, really getting to know our people who always want them to stay around longer." Continuity, during an event or from year to year, means your speakers are able to notice and volunteer to help your organization in special ways you may not have thought of. How It Works Recently, 1,674 members of the American Payroll Association attended its Sixteenth Annual Congress in Nashville. Dan chose as keynote speakers Art Linkletter, Susan RoAne, Willy Jolley, Al Walker, and me, Patricia Fripp. He had little trouble getting sponsorship to help pay for these keynoters because of the success of his past conferences. The Congress was scheduled to start on a Monday. Dan came up with the idea of offering an extra pre-Congress program on Sunday, "For Women Only." This isn't as sexist as it may sound because seventy-five percent of APA's membership is women. Dan figured that many could take advantage of cheaper Saturday night airline tickets, saving their company's money, so they might be open to an extra day of education and fun. He called this extra program "Women on the Ladder to Success: Career Strategies for the Millennium," and used six presenters. Three were from within the Association and industry, including the current president. Three were professional speakers who were also scheduled to speak during the main Congress. Each of the professionals gave two talks at this separate Sunday session. I did "Women in the Workplace, the Evolution of Career women" and "Are You a Wonder Woman or Superman in Payroll?" (In a custom-made Wonder Woman costume I had made 20 years ago. The fact I can still wear it deserves applause!) Susan RoAne spoke on "Taking Charge of Your Accomplishments" and "Women Who Make Things Happen: Traits of the Savvy and Successful." Diane Parente's programs were "Your Passport to Image Credibility" and "Looking Your Professional Best Without Spending a Fortune." Then, at the kick-off Monday session for the full membership, Susan was the keynote speaker with "Schmooze or Loose: How to Gain the Verbal Edge." She also presented a program for the vendors, "How to Make the Most of the Trade Show." Diane Parente delivered a breakout session on "Image, a Powerful Tool," and gave Dan's Board of Directors one-on-one consultation as a bonus. (17 in all.) I delivered the Congress's keynote speech, "Insights into Excellence," presented a marketing seminar for the vendors, "How to Nurture Relationships Once You Leave the Trade Show," and, as a break-out, conducted a workshop on "How to Sell Yourself and Your Ideas." Having booked the Sunday before the conference, Maddux thought of a way to use his talent pool for a Speakers' School on Saturday. Last year this program had been a success, but with a smaller audience of their speakers who talk on tax law changes, it had not justified a hiring a keynote caliber presenter to teach it. As I was already going to be there for several days I was excited at the prospect. I suggested we invite his association members scheduled to give programs during the congress. He also invite the APA leadership from the State chapters who have to speak at their meetings and get no formal public speaking training. As far as I am concerned the more the merrier. I charge the same whether my audience is five or 5,000. After the session I helped the President and Woman of the Year totally rewrite their talks. They have now requested I train them at least 3 months before next yearнs convention. Synergy Makes Good Sense Dan says "Using proven professionals in several slots so they develop a rapport with the audience is a better investment than bringing in a different speaker for each slot. In our case, two of the speakers, Diane and Patricia, had been so successful as keynoters the previous year that the audience was looking forward to seeing them again. This gave us the advantage of repeat role models, because our presidents turn over every year. The added fact that Patricia, Diane, and Susan had worked together before, and are best friends, gave us even more bang for our buck. We could never have put a dollar value on that kind of synergy. "I need my speakers to deliver a message and be powerful role models. Patricia, Diane, and Susan are all self-made women over fifty, looking good, feeling good, and they've built their careers themselves. This is an important message for our Association audience." More Bang for Your Buck Dan Maddux was able to negotiate with his speakers for a lot of extras. Many professionals figure that, as long as they are there anyway and being well paid, their time belongs to the client. Therefore, they are happy to take on extra tasks. The next time you are planning to hire a speaker, consider using him or her in multiple ways. It doesn't hurt to ask if the speaker would be willing to:
- Deliver one or two "breakout sessions" or a spouse program along with the keynote at the same half-day fee.
- Introduce other speakers.
- Emcee the event that they are part of.
- Help association Presidents of Board of Directors with their own presentations, either in advance or while the speaker is there.
- Say a prayer at a meal.
- Moderate a panel.
- Sign autographs.
- Appear in the sponsor's booth to make their sponsorship more of an investment.
Like most of my comrades in The National Speakers Association, I want to be memorable and to give full value for your meeting dollars. For the Hamilton Bank in Philadelphia, I even leaped out of a spaceship, wearing a Wonder Woman costume. (Getting into the spaceship was a little more complicated, but that's another story.)
Depression the downward spiral
We all heard about the “Blue Mood” or comments like “Oh she's got the blues today.” But what does that exactly mean? Actually, the term “blues” is another word used to describe a person who has depression. Being depressed is a normal human response to a sad, unfortunate, or tragic incident. Depression can be the result of having unrealistic expectations like for instance a person aiming for this particular position ends up being by-passed because he doesn't fit the qualifications. He may feel so down and angry about not getting the position even if deep in his heart, he knows that he is not really right for the job. People get depressed about different things at varying degrees. But one thing is for sure, depression affects people from all walks of life. Discouragement and adversities can surely make one feel like being in the bottom of the heap, so to speak. Take the case of a certain Mr. Miller. He was a man I met while traveling to Houston, Texas. We were seated next to each other in a bus and I could not help notice that he was teary-eyed. It was quite unusual but I felt instant concern for this old man. I boldly asked him if he was alright and asked whether I could be of any help? He looked at me and then I saw saddest pair of eyes I have ever seen in my whole life. Like water overflowing out of a dam, he poured out his life story. He told me that he was once a wealthy man but due to his gambling addiction and some bad business decisions, he eventually found himself bankrupt and saddled with debt. In short—he lost everything including his family. To make things worse, he discovered that his wife was having an affair, and that his one and only son was hooked on drugs, which explains why the boy was usually out of the house. Business failure...financial ruin....marital strife....family troubles...all these can cause a person to fall into despair. Rejection, too, is one of the main reasons why many become desperately lonely and troubled. The Internet Age has brought many technological innovations that have made everyday life more convenient. For instance, global communication and social networking is now so easy with the use of a computer with an Internet connection. People who are always rejected or have few friends can always use the Internet to meet new people and have their social needs met. In some cases, solitary people with depression use the Internet as a means to “survive” in a vast, lonely world. Among teenagers, rejection is a very serious issue. The lack of self-identity and peer pressure have left many with a feeling of rejection. Those who did not take the road to conformity are called by many names: “geek”, “nerd”, “weirdo”, and a long list of other derogatory names. Having many friends or being accepted is one of the simplest yet most important issues in the life of a teenager. Just a simple look like a raised eyebrow, a sneer, or just the tone of the voice may be enough for a sensitive soul to feel rejected. Indeed, depression affects our activities, our thoughts and relationships. It is usually triggered by sudden, stressful events such as losing a job, financial loss, a marriage break-up, or the death of a loved. According to Norman Wright's book, Real Solutions for Overcoming Discouragement, Rejection and the Blues, “....depression can be caused by physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual problems, or by a combination of these. It can be caused by our self-defeating thinking or by separation from God. Yet it can also result from a shortage of malfunctioning of essential neurotransmitters in the brain.” Depression, like any other human illness, must be treated and given appropriate attention. To know whether you or people around you are suffering from the “blues”, just try to look for these signs: Symptoms of Depression: 1. Mood swings that last more that a few days 2. A sudden weigh loss or gain 3. Insomnia or hypersomnia (sleeping too much) 4. Loss of interest in all activities 5. Restlessness 6. Easily Distracted 7. Unusual talkativeness 8. Inability to concentrate or make simple decisions 9. Recurrent thoughts of death or suicidal thoughts If you suspect your friend or relative is showing suicidal tendencies or if you hear morbid talk about death and dying...be alarmed! Suicide is the eighth leading cause of death among men living in the United States, although acts of suicide is more common among women. Surely, moral support and encouragement is very important. Providing a depressed person a reliable support system composed of family, friends and other close members of the community. Finding a qualified health care professional who can give antidepressant prescriptions or the most effective antidepressant may also be considered. Together with proper counseling, family support, encouragement from friends, and medications --- a person's efforts to regain self-confidence and self-esteem may be rewarded in due time.

Why decaffeinated coffee was introduced
Being an avid drinker of coffee, I never could figure out the reason following decaffeinated coffee. People usually drink coffee or espresso for the caffeine fix, so I always wondered as to why anyone would drink decaffeinated coffee. Would it not just defeat the purpose of drinking coffee? However, I finally saw the light and managed to figure out why decaffeinated coffee existed. This helped me immensely to sustain some sort of extravagance during my pregnancy and I also found out that I was not drinking coffee just for the caffeine fix and that I quite rather liked the taste of different coffee types. During my pregnancy I was one of those nutcases who had read up everything that could go wrong during a pregnancy and tried to avoid those possible causes like anything. For instance, I avoided aspartame only because they were unsure of the effects it might have on the baby and I stayed away from lunchmeat because it had a minute possibility of a listeria infection. Hence, when I got to know that caffeine had the possibility to cause miscarriages, I tried to avoid regular coffee. Now, to reach the parameters that were measured in the studies for miscarriages to happen, a person would have to drink at least three cups of coffee daily. However, after reading that I was scared enough to confine myself to drinking decaffeinated sodas and coffees. When I was halfway through my pregnancy, there was an expose show on the T. V on whether the decaffeinated coffee that we order in restaurants and coffee shops are really decaffeinated or not. I knew that decaffeinated coffee was not totally void of the substance and had small traces of caffeine in it. I also knew that I was not taking in amounts that were close to regular coffee. However, in the T. V show they revealed that the caffeine levels in decaffeinated coffee was close to the levels of the caffeine in a regular brew. They also reveled that this was the situation in around sixty percent of the places. This happened mainly because the machines and pots were not properly cleaned before the next pot was used or because of cross brewing. This particular case would not affect most situations, but in cases where there are medical conditions this would have taken a serious turn. It is a fact that this would truly affect my situation in any way and I also realize it. But, I am such a nutcase that I have completely cut out coffee (whether regular or decaffeinated) from my diet during my pregnancy. Unless I had brewed the coffee at home, I had totally removed caffeine free coffee during the fall and winter months. I should also say that during the last few months of my pregnancy this change had not helped my demeanor in any way.
Treadmill comparison 3 things you must know before buying
Buying a treadmill? You'll probably be making several treadmill comparisons when doing your research. Here are 3 things you must know when making treadmill comparisons in order to find the best one for you. #1 Compare Apples To Apples Don't compare prices between treadmills online and treadmills sold at a store. They are two different marketplaces, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. When I was selling a Proform treadmill many years ago, the gentleman buying it had gone online and seen the same model for less. I had to explain to him that this price was an online price only. Buying a treadmill online can sometimes be considerably cheaper, depending on the manufacturer, sales, closeouts, etc. So when comparing treadmill prices side by side, make sure you compare online treadmills to online treadmills and store treadmills to store treadmills. Also make sure you're comparing the same models. It sounds obvious but some treadmill brands have so many similar sounding treadmills in their line-up it's easy to get confused! #2 Know the Key Ingredients to a Quality Treadmill Make sure you know the top 4 key ingredients to a quality treadmill: - Motor Power - Stability - Warranty - Cushioning Your motor is the heart of your treadmill and adequate motor power is extremely important. Most experts recommend at least a 1.5 HP motor although I prefer a 2.0 HP or higher to ensure you don't burn the motor out (and then have to pay costly repair fees). Stability ensures that your treadmill will not shake or wobble when you start to run on it. Your warranty will protect your investment and quality treadmills will include a warranty. (You shouldn't have to pay extra for a treadmill warranty - unless you want to, of course!) Cushioning is the ability of the treadmill to absorb the force of your step. Higher cushioning means lower impact on your joints and ligaments. Cushioning is extremely important as poor cushioning can cause injury and muscle strain #3) Know What YOU Need When Reviewing Treadmills Many people get sold on all of the 'neat' features of the treadmill - but don't ever consider if they'll really use them. For example we'd all love to own a commercial-grade, luxury treadmill - but for many people, it's MORE than they need. On the other hand, a serious runner might actually need that kind of stability and cushioning in a treadmill. If you don't really care about 30 workout programs, why pay extra for them? If you know your 6'2" son will be running on the treadmill, remember to look for one with a longer running area and adequate user weight capacity. By knowing what you you need before comparing treadmills, you'll save yourself a lot of time and frustration. So there you have it - keep these 3 points in mind when making treadmill comparisons and you'll be well on your way to making an excellent treadmill purchase! Enjoy and have fun!
Romantic feelings
Romance, the eternal subject for most of the poets. Romance, the life giving force. Romance, that changes perceptions and romance makes a dull night a night of poetic thoughts. Romance turns an ordinary flower into a lover's gift to be preserved forever. Romance produces letters that are saved for generations. Romance makes everything look happy and cheerful. Romantic feelings change perception. One who had never thought of reading a poetry, begins writing one. That is romance. One who is in romantic love, will have no complaints with the world. Even if the traffic does not move for hours, the romantic lover excuses everyone. That is romance. Romance changes the way we look at the world. We see only good and every bad thing becomes either good or tolerable for us. Romance makes us magnanimous in thoughts. Romantic feelings make us sit alone and live in our own dreams. We need no one except ourselves to enjoy the thoughts of our romance. We want to be left alone and feel total peace and joy. During romance, every lip smiles, and every eye shines with the light of love. Romance brings a new God in our life. Our beloved. Some romantics are ready to kiss the place where his/her sweetheart stepped. Romance is to be experienced and not talked about. Romance brings more hormonal changes in body than any medicine and has a definite effect on the heartbeats. They increase at the thought of the beloved. That is romance and to be in romance is to experience the joy of heaven. There are many emotions and most of us experience all of them except romance. Emotions such as anger, nervousness, sadness and others like these are experienced by all of us. But few experience romance. There is a popular story in India of two romantic lovers. Laila and Majnu. Laila was the princess and Majnu was the son of a washerman. Once, it so happened that Majnu's father asked him to deliver clothes to the palace. There Majnu happened to see Laila and he fell madly in love with her. Since that day, he forgot everything including food, and was only asking for Laila. Some days passed, and this news that Majnu had gone mad in love with Laila reached the king. The king asked his Prime Minister about what could be done to help Majnu in this distress. The Prime Minister suggested that if Majnu wanted to buy anything from any shop, he could buy it for free. The palace would pay to the shopkeeper. This news brought in many new Majnus. They bought things and behaved like the original. The palace started getting bills in plenty. The king was more worried now and again consulted his Prime Minister. The suggestion was simple - declare that Majnu will be killed after seven days by the palace. This announcement made all the actors run away for their life. Only the original Majnu was left out. He had no care for his life. This made king think again and he got Majnu married with Laila. Majnu got Laila because he wanted nothing except her. His own life was worthless for him. What mattered was only Laila. This is romance.

10 Tips to resign your job with professionalism and pride
Congratulations! You just got an offer for a wonderful new job. There's just one catch. You have to say good-by to your current employer. Maybe you loved your job and you face an emotional farewell. Or you maybe you hated every minute and you’ve been counting the days till you could walk out the door one last time. Clients often admit they’re nervous about making the departure announcement. They’re afraid the boss will be angry. They feel guilty about the work they’re leaving behind. Maybe someone else has to take up the slack for awhile. But clients also wonder how to resign gracefully yet still protect their own longer-term career interests. They suspect their departure style will influence their careers for a long time, They’re right. Here are some guidelines to move to your next position with grace and style. 1. Give the correct amount of notice required by your company’s written policy. Every so often my clients feel sorry for their former colleagues. So they stick around an extra week (or even an extra month). Inevitably, they begin to feel like a fifth wheel. Nearly everyone says, “Next time I’m leaving right away!” 2. After you leave, do not accept any job-related calls from your company unless you have a written consulting contract. Your boss required two weeks notice – but belatedly realized she needs four weeks for a smooth transition to your successor. Your boss made a business decision to require two weeks notice. When she miscalculates, she needs to accept the cost, just as she’d accept the cost of late payments to a supplier. If your company needs additional help, offer to work as a paid consultant with a contract. But get everything in writing and make sure your new job becomes your Number One priority. 3. Study your current and future company policies regarding disclosures and no-compete agreements. Some companies are extremely proprietary about their process and their people. Once you resign, you may have to leave the workplace immediately. Or your new company may ask you not to work for your former employer, even on a part-time basis. 4. Resign to your boss in person, if at all possible. Phone is second best. And tell the boss before you tell anyone else – even your best friend or golfing buddy. 5. Expect your boss to be professional. Clients often fear the boss’s reaction. However, bosses rarely are caught by surprise. Good bosses are happy to see their employees move ahead. Thank her for the opportunity to learn, which has led to your newest and most wonderful career move. 6. Thank your boss and your coworkers, even if you hate them all and can’t wait to leave. You may regard them more fondly through a haze of memories than a glare of office lighting. You may encounter them at conventions and networking groups. And most likely you will benefit from strong references and goodwill. 7. Decline a counter-offer. Recruiters consistently tell me, “Sixty percent of those who accept a counter-offer are gone in six months.” If you decide to stay, get a written job contract. Exception: A few companies and industries actually demand proof of an outside offer before offering you any kind of internal raise or reward. College professors often work in this environment. 8. Treat the exit interview as a business formality, not a therapy session. When a Human Resource professional asks why you are leaving, be upbeat and positive: “for a better opportunity.” Talk about how much you loved the company and your job. You never know where your comments will turn up, mangled and misinterpreted. 9. Resist entreaties to share the details of your future position with anyone. Occasionally a colleague will try to assess your salary or other information “so we can stay competitive in recruiting.” Helping your company recruit is not part of your job and anyway, do you really believe this? Details of your future employment should remain confidential, even from your close friends in the company. 10. Focus on your new opportunity – not your past expeience. Once you’re gone, you’re history. The very same folks who loved meeting you for lunch will barely remember your name a week later. And, if you haven’t changed jobs for awhile you may be in for a shock. Your first day in a new position can be a real eye-opener!

Sit back and remember
Why is it, that any holiday, time off, or event, someone is sick? Do they plan it that way? I was sitting today, pondering, reminissing, and it came to my attention that every function I have ever attended had at least one of my family members sitting with the sniffles. I was 7 years old. It was christmas time, and I was sick with my appendix. That was a good one. Is it coincidence? Or is there some greater evil out there that enjoys watching suffering in times of joy. We should find him, and tell him we are NOT impressed. Timing is everything. There is a point, in every persons life, where everything seems to go wrong, and all you can do is sit there and watch it happen. But maybe it's a good thing. In fact, if nothing goes wrong, we won't know what's right. Perhaps what we need to do is change those tears of helplessness into tears of joy. That would be weird. "I love it when i get scarlet fever" Woops. Here is a good one. This time, evil chose to be more mean than ever. I will tell you the holiday AFTER I tell you what happened. I had the chicken pox, my youngest sister had the chicken pox, my other sister had scarlet fever, and my parents were sharing the flu. Get this.... Thanksgiving. Thats right. Usually at thanksgiving time we go around the table, taking turns saying thanks for whatever you are thankful for. What a task. I was thankful for oatmeal baths! It's funny how we are tested in such ironic ways. The outcome of our battles with nature shows what kind of person we can become, but what happens during the battle defines what kind of person we really are.
Help the court has seized my assets garnishment in law and practice
A court order that seizes assets from the defendant to pay off a debt is known as Garnishment. One form of garnishment is automatic withholding of the debtor’s wages. When a creditor fails to satisfy the debt taken, the court can issue a garnishment against him. When the creditor petitions the court to send a portion of its pay to satisfy the debt then this step is taken. The garnishment law differs from state to state and varies in details also. Generally, the TVA is required to take over 25% of an employee’s disposable earnings or assets, thereafter sending that amount to court. The pay of an employee can be under garnishment until the complete of the debt has been collected. This situation arises when we fail to pay taxes, skip out on child support or overlook some bills. Under these circumstances the state government or the creditor can seize our wages as well. This process is known as Wage garnishment. Most garnishment requires court orders and employers are supposed to notify the creditor before any step is taken. But garnishment is the last option for which a government goes for. It is taken up only after all other options have exhausted. One should never ignore IRS because due to ignorance there are chances of increase in garnishment, as they know our work place, living place and even the bank account. The loans or the help provided by the government are of many types such as student loan for education, business loan, child support, and etc. To collect the loans back, IRS is not alone but the state government, private creditors, or even an ex-spouse demanding the alimony can also demand garnishment of our pay. To claim the garnishment, only different branches of the government do not need to take court orders, other than every other agency needs to obtain a court order to claim the garnishment. Losing the income is not easy but there are some limits for garnishment. Title III of the Consumer Credit Protection Act caps the amount of wages that can be taken from an employee. In this manner, the person is also left with some part of the income as well as the creditor is also paid up. This also prevents the creditor to speed up the debt recovery procedure and harass the debtor. The level of garnishment is based on the disposable earnings of the employee. This amount comes after deducting the legal deductions of federal state and local taxes, social security, unemployment, insurance and state employee retirement system. Things that do not come in the head of voluntary deductions are union dues, health and life insurance, charity, purchase of savings bonds and payment for payroll advance. After taking all the preventative measures, the disposable income amount is calculated the maximum amount that can be garnished in any pay period should not exceed more than 25% of the employees’ disposable earning. The garnishment law allows up to 50% of the employees’ disposable income to be garnished, if he supports the wife and a child. The restrictions on garnishment do not apply in case of court orders of bankruptcy and outstanding debts of federal or state taxes. When the federal law differs from the state wage garnishment law, the smaller garnishment amount must be followed. Care should be taken to stay from the evil of garnishment. In some cases this situation occurs when a letter is received form the IRS department 20 days before the garnishment date. That time if the person goes to the IRS and explains the problem and repayment schedule or apologize and seeks more time for repayment then the problem at hand can be solved. If the creditor also has a problem he also needs to go to the court and seek an order for garnishment. Thus if the reason explained by the debtor is genuine then the department chalks out a repayment plan. But if the second chance of the repayment is also defaulted then further garnishment proceedings and called for.
Tax information about timeshares
Tax Information about Timeshares Some people have a misconception that timeshare sales are not subjected to income tax. But in reality timeshares sales are subjected to income tax. It is treated similar to any other kind of real estate property. As a timeshare property is a capital asset so when you sell a timeshare and make profit on it, it is considered as a capital gain. But you have to own the property for more than one year for it to be eligible for income tax. You can include all the costs associated with buying a timeshare like closing costs you had to pay when buying your timeshare, the annual maintenance fee for all the years that you owned the property and special assessments if any. But Like any other real estate property if you sell your timeshare and if you incur loss which is called capital loss, you many not be able to deduct the losses in your tax returns. But situation might differ if you regularly rent the unit; any loss on sale would be termed as allowable business loss and would thus be deductible as an allowable ordinary loss in tax returns. Loss on sale would not be allowed by IRS if the unit had been converted back to personal use before selling. There are no other deductibles allowed against timeshares. The exception is the property tax only if it is billed separately. They are also deductible if the resort differentiates it as a different item on your maintenance fee bill. You may also be able to deduct the interest on a timeshare loan, but, only if the loan is taken as a mortgage and there should be no other deductible mortgages except your primary home mortgage. But sad thing is not all timeshare loans qualify as mortgage loans as they are primarily termed as consumer loans. Also you have to keep in mind that you cannot deduct interest on multiple timeshare loans at a time if you also have a primary home mortgage. But you might be able to deduct interests on multiple timeshares if they are at same resort, as they can be viewed as one timeshare. The timeshares can also be used for donating to a charity. But there are some restrictions. If you want to donate a deeded timeshare, the allowable deduction is normally equal to the fair market value of the timeshare on the date of donation. If the fair market value exceeds five thousand dollars you will have to get a written appraisal that should meet IRS guidelines. In case of non-deeded and right to use timeshares which are considered as tangible assets, additional rules apply. The fair market value of the timeshare must be reduced by the amount equal to any gain that would have been made had the property been sold by the owner. When it comes to renting your timeshare you can claim deductions on all expenses including depreciation cost, cost of advertising, rental commissions and maintenance fees. Certain kind of special assessments may be deductible like repairs and unexpected expenses. Expenses like remodeling may not be deductible, so are the travel expenses Also one has to remember that vacation home rules apply if you use it for at least fifteen days each year for personal use. The timeshares can also qualify however you should use it at least 15 days. Word Count 563

Should you offer commissions for customer referrals
As a small business owner you may find yourself in a situation where you want to partner with another business but they are asking for a commission on your services. You will want to be prepared to handle such a request BEFORE you find yourself in this situation. Whenever someone asks you for a commission in exchange for marketing your product or service, it is basically an affiliate or referral program. This can be one of the most powerful forms of marketing because it promotes word-of-mouth marketing. Who better to refer clients or customers to you than someone who fully understands the value of the services you have to offer? Often these people are your current satisfied customers, or as is the case with this question, they may be strategic partners. Strategic partners are those individuals or businesses who agree to refer business to you, sometimes in exchange for you doing the same for them, or perhaps for a commission. Either way, it is important to make sure it is a win-win situation for both sides. If you consider these individuals or businesses are in effect doing your marketing for you, then you realize paying a referral incentive or commission is merely a marketing expense. When you consider that referred customers are "warm leads" and are a lot more likely to purchase from you than a "cold" prospect because they come with an endorsement from someone they trust, then you see even more how valuable this referral marketing can be. My suggestion is to approach this as a potential business partnership. Make sure they completely understand the benefits you can provide to their customers and let them know you would like to design a mutually beneficial partnership. Before you offer to pay them a commission, find out what is important to them. What are they looking for that you can possibly help them to get? In this case the potential partner IS your target audience so know them and approach them with a relevant proposition. Be willing to pay a referral fee or commission if that is all they are interested in, but also be open to other ideas. I have negotiated some amazing partnerships just by spending some time talking and brainstorming with potential partners. In other cases I have straight affiliate/commission partnerships. It all depends on the partner and how we determine we can BEST HELP EACH OTHER to be successful. (C) 2005 Debbie LaChusa
Ski vacations learning how to ski 485
Ski Vacations – Learning How To Ski If your family wants to go skiing on your next vacation, but you don’t know how to ski, go ahead and plan that ski vacation anyway! You can learn how to ski, and you will have a great time doing it. You don’t even need to know the first thing about skiing before you arrive at the resort – all of the knowledge you will need is there waiting for you, and you can literally be skiing down a mountain after an hour of instruction. Learning to ski is really quite easy. Most resorts have a ski school on the premises, and lessons are reasonably priced. Group and private lessons are usually available. It is a good idea, however, to schedule an appointment before you arrive at the resort. This will ensure that you can start learning to ski the very first hour of your vacation. Most ski instructors start by showing you how to maneuver around with your equipment. When you are wearing ski boots, you will be inclined slightly forward – there is a reason for this…when you are skiing down a mountain, you will be inclined forward! Walking in ski boots the first time is a bit difficult – but it works just fine if you learn to walk with your knees slightly bent. The first maneuver you will learn is called the plow, or snow plow. This is a technique that is done by literally using your skis as a snow plow. You make the back of the skis slowing move outwards, away from your body by applying pressure – and this stops you. You guide yourself on skies by bending your knees and leaning in one direction or another, depending on which way you want to go. All of these techniques can be learned in one hour, even if you have never been on a pair of skis in your life. The beauty of skiing is that after you have learned how to snow plow, and how to guide yourself on the skis, you are ready to ski! Get on the lift, head up the mountain, and give it a try. Control your speed by snow plowing – go slow at first. When you want to pick up some speed, draw your skis back in to pick up a little speed, then push them back out into the plow position to control that speed. As a beginner, you should stick to the trails that are designed for beginners. At most resorts, these trails are marked with a green emblem. Blue trails are for intermediate skiers, and after one day of skiing the beginner trails, you may be ready for those trails. The black trails are for experts. These trails can be dangerous for people who don’t have the skill level to handle them! Avoid black trails until you have had a great deal of ski instruction and experience. You will know when you are ready! (word count 485)
Your vegetables may be laced with antibiotics
Careful what you eat, especially if you are allergic to certain antibiotics. Recent studies have shown that some vegetables absorb the antibiotic chemicals from the soil they are grown in. Why? Animal manure. In our vast food chain, it seems that we have come across the ultimate irony. Humans are now being punished by their own attempts to optimize the animal and plant food industries. Instead of people being superior to animals and plants in the food chain, we're now being "kicked in the pants," so to speak. Here's the explanation: Animals raised for human consumption are often fed antibiotics in order to make them stronger and larger, making them more marketable animals, according to the Journal of Environmental Quality's report on antibiotic infused crops. In raising these animals, their manure is also collected to be used for soil in raising crops. This manure, used as soil, has now been found to transfer the antibiotics put in the animal feed to the very plants that grow in this soil. In other words, by feeding animals antibiotics to capitalize on the market, we are actual introducing a potential danger in human consumption. Devastated reactions have come from slow food movements, driving home the point that it is important to know where your food comes from. If you have an allergy to certain antibiotics, it could be very dangerous to consume a potato laced with antibiotics. But, with the way America sells its food in grocery stores, it would be hard to know, wouldn't it? Not only is it hard to figure out which crops have these problems, but it is known that animal manure is very commonly used as soil across the world. So far, the animal antibiotics have been found in such foods as corn, lettuce, and potatoes. Potatoes have been found to have the highest amounts of these antibiotics because its actual food closely encounters the soil. Actual dangerous effects of this problem have not yet been fully analyzed. In the meantime, it has been advised by study conductors that those with allergies to any sort of antibiotics should be careful. Let the music play with mp3 player
Music is the ultimate source of entertainment for many people in the world. It is one of the most effective sources of refreshing and de-stressing oneself, when one is burdened with stress and anxiety. It has always been on top of people`s popular priorities, to listen to music as a regular part of their lives. The invention of gadgets like Mp3 player and iPod has now enabled them to listen to their favorite music, even when they are on the move. This very fact has largely contributed to the growing popularity of the Mp3 player devices among many people across the globe. Nowadays, Mp3 player manufactures are coming up with the different types of designs to suit the varied needs of all customers. Customers these days have become more prudent than ever before and now they want to choose gadgets that are multi-purpose in use. For instance, there are sunglasses with Mp3 player devices, Mp3 player with GPS (global tracking system) and many other useful combinations. These combined devices not only help users to save their budgets but also offer them comfort of using or carrying them. On the other hand, the manufactures are also able to introduce their products to customers with different features which, in turn, establish their credibility in the market as well. Hence, the whole market of music-oriented gadgets and devices are just growing day by day. Depending on their functions, Mp3 player gadgets can serve a wide-range of purposes. A recently held study shows that an average teenager spends about U$350 a year on consumer electronic devices, whereas that of an adult sums up to U$1,200. Usually, customers have different buying behaviors and they take different features into account while they buy audio devices. For example, some people want to listen to music while they are working out on the treadmill, and some people want to amuse themselves by listening to their favorite tracks while commuting on public transport. Due to this difference in the life-style of people, manufactures are coming up with Mp3 player devices of different shapes, sizes, styles and storage features. Since almost all the Mp3 player manufacturers are offering devices with the same features, making their products stand out from the rest is becoming an issue with them. Hence, now they are launching their products in different sleek designs and sizes to attract the attention of their prospective buyers. As a matter of fact, market research studies show that excepting for a few discerning buyers, most of them are influenced by the looks and design of the product. Hence, the audio player marketers are vying with each other to get the customers` attention by introducing their audio player devices with unique and sleek designs. As a result, we can find that most Mp3 player products are getting smaller in size day by day and their looks are just getting swankier. Mp3 player storage capacity and battery life are some of the important features one should look for. Moreover, file format is not also a problem as most of these portable audio devices play all types of music files. Despite all these Mp3 player features, people have now started picking only those music devices that have multiple functions. For example, products that do not have either a video player or GPS or a camera are less likely to attract the buyers these days. Many others customers are also searching for Mp3 player products with a screen facility to choose and play their favorite tracks whenever they want. So before you buy an Mp3 player, know what else you want from it apart from music. This will help you decide whether you should go for a mono-purpose or multi-purpose audio device player. The affordability of a ski vacation rental
For skiers, a getaway made to the slopes entails more than just ski passes and equipment rental; for destination skiing, it means the arrangement of accommodations, meals, and travel – all of which can add up to be an expensive prospect. Hotel accommodations alone can cost you seventy-five percent of your total vacation price; and when you add meals on top of that, a ski vacation sometimes becomes cost-prohibitive. But, if you consider a ski vacation rental, you may find that you are able to save an enormous amount of money – putting your ski getaway back into reach. A ski vacation rental can be a great way to spend a getaway. Depending on the location you choose, you can have close proximity to the ski slopes at all times. Further, the ability to share the ski vacation rental with a number of other people significantly reduces the price. If you have family and friends that you typically travel with on a ski vacation, you may want to think about going in together on a rental. In the end, you may find that you’ve each spent hundreds of dollars less than you would have on hotel accommodations. Additionally, a ski vacation rental also allows visitors to save money on meals. No longer are you required to eat out. The ability to prepare your own food in your kitchen can literally save you hundreds of dollars. Of course, another benefit of a ski vacation rental – especially if you are sharing it with friends and extended family – is that your vacation takes on a party quality. Instead of everyone separating into their own hotel rooms after a day of skiing, you can all gather together for a shared meal, games, and conversation. It can be a great way to enjoy the slopes – and each other. To find a ski vacation rental you can go through a rental agency in the destination of your choice. Rental agencies work as a liaison between property owners and prospective renters; they will broker the deal and take care of all necessary paperwork. Just be sure that you deal with a reputable company who knows the area and the property. You can also find a ski vacation rental online at a host of websites. Often, a ski destination will host its own website geared towards tourism. On this site, they will often offer a link to rental properties in the area. Book your ski vacation rental early and you will be sure to have much to look forward to during your next getaway to the slopes!
